Children’s Minnesota Launches New Website
Site Reimagines Content Delivery in the Digital Health Age
MINNEAPOLIS, MN. Jan. 12, 2016—Children’s Minnesota announced today the launch of a completely redesigned website at www.childrensmn.org. A process that began nearly two years ago, the redesign is a result of the organization recognizing that the former website wasn’t meeting the needs of its users, particularly parents who need quick information about Children’s Minnesota’s services, hospital and clinics, as well as people looking for useful information about kids’ health topics.
Seeing the changes on the horizon with digital health care and working to understand the needs of mobile consumers, Jen Swanson, director of digital marketing at Children’s Minnesota, and her team wanted the hospital to be at the nexus of digital technology and healthcare to better serve families. Children’s partnered with Minneapolis digital marketing agency, Ciceron, to design a site that not only supports its users, but also supports the hospital’s goal of being every family’s essential partner in raising healthier kids.
Extensive customer insight work by the team helped fine-tune the requirements of the new site. At the core of the redesign is a responsive infrastructure that allows users to access information from any mobile device. The complex technical underpinnings and intuitive design resulted in a new site that is robust yet easy to navigate and embodies the hospital’s brand.
“Our new digital presence is helping more families access Children’s Minnesota as the expert in pediatric healthcare that we are,” says Swanson. “It also accurately captures the Children’s brand—reimagining healthcare for the most amazing people on earth—in a new, exciting and unique way.”
