Flu is prevalent this time of year, so getting a flu vaccine and washing hands are excellent preventative steps. Be sure to pack Tylenol for fever and pain relief and a topical antibiotic ointment, just in case. If you aren’t feeling well, cover your cough to help prevent the spread of illness.

Common illnesses when traveling abroad include:

  • Stomach flu
  • Respiratory illness

  • If possible, try not to use ice.
  • Choose beverages that require a seal to be broken, and have it broken in front of you
