Minnesota Public Radio: Minnesota fights back against teen sex trafficking

As part of Minnesota’s fight against teen sex trafficking in Minnesota, the Safe Harbor law decriminalizes underage prostitution, offering shelter and support instead of sending these people to juvenile detention. Laurel Edinburgh, nurse practitioner at Midwest Children’s Resource Center, explained the process of helping trafficked youth to ensure they get the care and treatment they need.
