Study finds parents put babies to sleep in unsafe environments

Dr. Keith Cavanaugh, sleep medicine and pulmonology pediatrician at Children’s Minnesota, provided expertise for MinnPost.com on the findings from a recent study, showing that parents often place babies in unsafe sleep environments. While a high percentage of parents used safe services for sleep, many placed infants in cribs that contained soft bedding or other potentially hazardous items.
