New CAR T-Cell therapy increasing leukemia patient survival rates

Children’s Minnesota is using a new medical therapy known as CAR T-cell therapy that could help kids with acute lymphoblastic leukemia have a better chance of survival. Dr. Joanna Perkins, Children’s Minnesota Cancer and Blood Disorders physician, joined KSTP-TV to explain how this therapy may help patients fight leukemia.
