Star Tribune: New screen time guidelines released for young children

The American Academy of Pediatrics announced updated guidelines for screen time, including that it is okay to allow children younger than age 2 to have limited exposure to televisions, tablets and phone screens. Dr. Gigi Chawla, senior medical director for the primary care division at Children’s Minnesota, weighed in on the findings and the health risks associated with too much screen time.
