Children’s Minnesota part of health care coalition to enhance safety

Children’s is part of Minnesota’s Health Care and Law Enforcement Coalition, a group made up of representatives from the Minnesota Department of Health, the Minnesota Sheriffs’ Association and the Minnesota Hospital Association. The goal of the coalition is to build relationships and improve collaboration between health care and law enforcement organizations. Children’s involvement has led to “shared knowledge; more streamlined responses to critical incidents; and collaboration on planning, drills, potential high-risk situations and after-action reviews to improve processes moving forward.” Read the full story from Daily News Media: MN health care coalition to enhance safety.
