Dr. Pamela Niksich, a pediatrician at Partners in Pediatrics Brooklyn Park Clinic, wrote for MetroDocs explaining the importance of HPV vaccines for children, and best practices for pediatricians and general practitioners to inform patients and parents of the benefits of the vaccine. She recommended shifting the discussion of HPV vaccinations to one of cancer prevention and safety, rather than focusing on sexuality and sexual activity.
