Q: What has been a highlight of your time volunteering at Children’s?
A: Volunteering here has been such a great experience. Everyone is friendly and supportive and it has been a joy volunteering at this Hospital! I love being able to work with so many different kids and help make their days a little brighter!
Q: Why should people volunteer here or anywhere?
A: Whether you decide to volunteer at Children’s or at another hospital, I strongly recommend it. It is such a rewarding experience and you truly make a difference in the patients and family’s lives. Also, it is a great way to network and get experience if you are thinking about a field in healthcare!

Q: What has been a highlight of your time volunteering at Children’s ?
A: The way a baby holds your finger or a child smiles at you or a family’s deep appreciation fills me with overwhelming joy.
Q: Why do you volunteer at Children’s?
A: I feel a deep responsibility to “give back.” Being able to connect with children inspires me to make their time at the hospital a positive experience.

Q: Why do you volunteer at Children’s?
A: I volunteer because I love interacting and working alongside a fabulous team of healthcare professionals towards a common goal – improving and maintaining the health and wellness (+ happiness) of our young patients!
Q: What has been a highlight of your time volunteering at Children’s?
A: Surgery can often be a frightening concept for young kiddos. As a volunteer, I have the opportunity to engage with our young patients in a way that helps reduce fear or anxiety about a seemingly scary day – an extraordinarily rewarding experience!

Q: Why do you volunteer at Children’s?
A: I want to be able to give any child and anyone the reminder that no matter how much they may or may not have, someone, whether it be me or someone else, will always be there to give them a piece of the world they thought they could never have.
Q: Why should people volunteer here or anywhere?
A: Giving a piece of yourself each and every day you volunteer is a stepping stone to becoming someone you never thought you could be, and to find another reason you are just glad to be alive. The more you learn the more you grow, and children’s is no exception when it comes to providing that, it is exceptional.

Q: Why do you volunteer at Children’s?
A: The reason of wanting to volunteer is I want to become a pediatrician. I love being around kids and help kids smile, laugh and play.
