Patsy Stinchfield on the spread of vaccine misinformation

Patsy Stinchfield, APRN, CNP, senior director of infection prevention and control and liaison representative to the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, spoke with CNN about the anti-vaccine movement’s social media presence. In response to recent measles cases around the United States, she argued that medical professionals haven’t done enough to counteract the misinformation spread by anti-vax groups on social media.
