Dr. Aimee Sznewajs, director of pediatric hospital medicine at Children’s Minnesota, presented at Grand Rounds for Allina’s regional hospitals and clinics on Wed., September 16: “COVID-19 and kids: Where we are today.”

During the virtual session Dr. Sznewajs reviewed current epidemiology, clinical updates and transmission in pediatric COVID-19 as Allina Health providers from around the region listened in.

Allina’s regional Grand Rounds are hosted and moderated by Dr. Amy Elliott, MD, director of medical affairs, District One Hospital in Faribault, Minn.

Of the session Dr. Elliott said, “Dr. Sznewajs presented clinically relevant information about COVID to our multi-disciplinary group that will help our rural hospitals provide better care for kids as we move into winter. We are always grateful for Children’s Minnesota’s expertise and partnership!”
