The 2021 meeting of the Pediatric Academic Societies kicked off virtually May 1-4. During the opening days of the meeting, Children’s Minnesota shared their pediatric expertise with meeting participants.
Emergency medicine providers participated in the Emergency Medicine e-poster section. Along with the presentation of their posters, meeting attendees could interact with the presenters via a virtual question and answer.

Children’s Minnesota outreach team members, Kathleen Baumbach and Jennifer Johnson were available during the virtual exhibit hall to answer questions and share resources with attendees via live video and text chat. And, Children’s Minnesota provided a toolkit to all participants highlighting important Children’s Minnesota programs and services, clinical resources, education opportunities and more.
In phase II of the meeting, running through June 4, club co-chair Dr. Aimee Sznewajs facilitated the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Club: AAP Section on Hospital Medicine on May 17. Dr Sznewajs is the Medical Director of the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Program at Children’s Minnesota.
