One family’s experience at The Mother Baby Center at Mercy

At only 33 weeks pregnant, Danielle was rushed to The Mother Baby Center at Mercy with Children’s Minnesota. She was then diagnosed with placental abruption and preeclampsia. She was rushed to the operating room (OR) and minutes later, she gave birth to her baby Freya.

The NICU at Mercy is now a level III, which means they’ve expanded their services to help high-risk moms like Danielle deliver closer to home. Learn more about their expanded services here.

The Mother Baby Center is a collaboration between Allina Health and Children’s Minnesota.
