Dr. Brianne Roby honored with prestigious Harris P. Mosher Award

Children’s Minnesota is thrilled to announce that Dr. Brianne Roby, pediatric otolaryngologist and director of the Cleft program, has received the Harris P. Mosher Award for Clinical Science from The American Laryngological, Rhinological and Otological Society, also known as The Triological Society. The honor was given in recognition of the excellence of Dr. Roby’s thesis in otolaryngology clinical research. Harris P. Mosher, MD, was a pioneer in the development of modern-day otolaryngology.

Dr. Roby’s thesis for which she received the award was titled Children’s Visual Perception of Facial Scarring and Secondary Cleft Lip Deformity Using Eye Tracking Data. She presented her findings during The Triological Society’s 125th Annual Meeting at the Combined Otolaryngology Spring Meetings (COSM) in Boston, which took place May 4 and 5. During the meeting, she was also inducted as a New Fellow in The Triological Society.
