Pamela Gigi Chawla, MD

Gigi Chawla, MD, pediatrician and hospitalist, is the senior medical director for the primary care division at Children’s Minnesota and previously served as chief of staff. She is a regular contributor to Minnesota Parent and serves as the expert for WCCO-TV’s “Ask A Pediatrician.”

Mark Hudson, MD, is the medical director of Midwest Children’s Resource Center at Children’s Minnesota. In this role he works with children who have been abused or neglected to provide care and help them return to a productive, hopeful future.

Anupam Kharbanda, MD
Emergency

Anupam Kharbanda, MD, is the director of research for Emergency Services and the associate fellowship director for Pediatric Medicine at Children’s Minnesota. Dr. Kharbanda has published numerous articles and textbook chapters regarding pediatric appendicitis and trauma. He’s also nationally-recognized for his work on clinical pathways for the management of children in the emergency department.

David Overman, MD, is the chief of the division of Cardiovascular Surgery, cardiac liaison for the ECMO Program and the director of perfusion services at Children’s Minnesota. He is a pediatric cardiovascular surgeon.

Susan Sencer, MD, is the chief of the professional staff and medical director of the Hematology and Oncology Program at Children’s Minnesota. She was also instrumental in founding the Integrative Medicine and Pain and Palliative Care programs.
