Personal Biography
Dr. Kevin Sheridan is a board certified pediatric endocrinologist practicing at Gillette Children’s Specialty Care Hospital and a board certified adult endocrinologist practicing at Health Partners Specialty Clinics and Regions Hospital. He completed medical school at the University of Minnesota in 1986 and residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at West Virginia University Hospital in 1990. Fellowship studies in adult endocrinology and pediatrics were at the University of Minnesota. He is especially interested in the care of chronic disease conditions that span childhood to adults, including diabetes, metabolic bone disease and pituitary disease. In addition to inpatient and outpatient endocrine care at Gillette, he also participates in the general pediatric inpatient rounding team, provides service as a clinical densitometrist reading and interpreting DXA scans at Gillette and as a coordinator of DXA team management group, doing clinical research involving (1) DXA precision study of children with cerebral palsy and (2) Bone density response to standing, participating in the bone health clinical research group (meetings, position statements, etc), staffing an adult general medicine OP clinic services, manages the OP osteogenesis imperfecta multidisciplinary clinic. Outside of Gillette He provides clinic services at health partners in outpatient adult endocrine clinics, densitometry reading for HP DXA studies, volunteer service in a community underserved health clinic (St Mary’s).
