I cannot say enough amazing things about our doctor. He was patient, kind and explained things so that my 13 year old could understand. He answered all of my questions and was patient. Had a wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Shepard and his echo technologist. They were both very patient, explained everything to both me and my son. Dr. Shepard was amazing. He was thorough, very knowledgeable and took his time with us. I would highly recommend him.

Great service

This was by far the best appointment we have had since we've been coming to Children's Hospital and we've been coming here since my son was born 5.5 years ago. The individual that did my son's echo was absolutely amazing. Their name is Robbie. My son gets very nervous before these visits, and usually cries throughout. Robbie made my son so comfortable that he didn't cry one bit. We have never had an experience like this before. This was also our first visit with Dr. Shepard and I am so happy we found him I received information about my son's condition that I never knew before. Dr. Shepard is my son's 3rd cardiologist and I sure hope he never leaves because he is by far the best! Please recognize both him and Robbie for being amazing!

Everything was good except waiting over an hour in a room for the doctor.

Dr Shepard is our favorite specialist. He goes out of his way to make sure we feel comfortable and fully understand all the information. He is gentle, kind and caring. We always leave feeling heard and valued. At this appointment my daughter had some questions that were emotionally important for her and Dr Shepard handled her questions with respect and awareness of the impact his answers would have on my daughter as a person. He was so clear, honest and kind. We are so grateful to have him as part of our doctor team.

We got o our appointment and had our echocardiogram really quickly but then we had to wait over an hour in the room for the doctor because he was in a meeting. He apologized but--don't schedule appointments when you have a meeting. We were there or over two hours which was not necessary

The doctor remembers the patient like it was yesterday for the last visit even though it has been 6 months. I'm grateful for his presence with us on the journey.

They are the best specialists for my daughter. They have treated her in the best way. God bless all the doctors and all those who work in that hospital. They are the best.

Staff looked to me to take the lead with my child, and they were kind and patient. The echo technician expressed appreciation and encouragement for how many calming strategies I had and how much they helped my child. The cardiologist took time to make sure I understood the results. He asked and answered questions and I didn't feel rushed through.
