Personal Biography

I would like to take this opportunity to share with you some information about myself. I held a private practice in Grand Rapids, MI from 1997 through January 2008. In 2004, I served as Chief of Orthopedics at St. Mary's Hospital. In addition I was an associate clinical professor at Grand Valley State University and an assistant clinical professor at Michigan State University college of Human Medicine. In February 2008, I moved to Minnesota joining Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota Orthopedic Program. My practice is focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of sports related disorders and injuries. In short, I help athletes get back in the game. I am specially trained to perform arthroscopy of the shoulder and knee, and other general orthopaedic procedures. It brings me great pleasure to apply state-of-the-art, proven procedures to restore a patient to a more productive life. I would always strive to provide you the same high quality orthopaedic care that I would offer to a family member. In addition, I enjoy all types of physical activities including cross country and downhill skiing, scuba diving, camping, bike touring, hunting and fishing, and coaching youth lacrosse.
