Personal Biography
Rebecca is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Children's Minnesota. She attended nursing school at St. Olaf College. Rebecca became employed at Children's in 2002 as a registered nurse on the float team. After obtaining her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification at the University of Minnesota in 2008, she joined the Genetics Department. In 2012 she obtained her credentials as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Genetics. Rebecca is a lead clinician in the Down Syndrome Clinic, is directly involved in coordinating enzyme replacement therapy for children with lysosomal storage disorders, and participates in the 22q11 Deletion Syndrome Clinic. Her areas of interest include the care of children with trisomy 21, lysosomal storage disorders, complex chromosome abnormalities, and the genetics evaluation of children with developmental delay.
