Personal Biography

Hossein Aliabadi, MD is a Pediatric Urologist on the medical staff of Children's Hospital's and Clinics of Minnesota, Gillette Children's Specialty Health Center, University of Minnesota-Fairview system hospitals, Hennepin County Medical Center, North Memorial Hospital and Methodist Hospital. He Attended the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, and completed his residency in Urologic Surgery at the University of Minnesota. He received special Training in Pediatric Urology and renal transplantation, at the hospital for sick children in Toronto, Canada. He then joined the faculty of the Department of Urologic Surgery at the University of Minnesota, and is currently with Pediatric Urology Associates with multiple sites/offices in the metro area providing full range of services for infants and children. He has published a number of peer-reviewed articles, including in the New England Journal of Medicine, and has made presentations in national and international meetings. He is a member in many national and international professional organizations, and was cited in Consumers Guide to Americas top Urologists. Dr Aliabadi's areas of interest include prenatally diagnosed fetal anomalies, complex congenital urinary tract and genital abnormalities, and reconstruction involving the genitourinary tract.
