Personal Biography

Cristina is a neonatologist at Children's Minnesota in St. Paul. She is also the medical director of the NICU Follow- Up Program and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics within the University of Minnesota, Division of Neonatology. She attended Medical School at St. George's University before returning to her home state of New York to complete pediatric residency at North Shore LIJ - Cohen Children's Medical Center. She completed her Neonatal- Perinatal fellowship at Wake Forest University in 2015 and subsequently joined the staff at Children's Minnesota. She is board certified in Pediatrics as well as Neonatal- Perinatal Medicine. She specializes in the care of premature neonates and critically ill infants. Her area of clinical research is in home monitoring of infants post discharge and in the long term neurodevelopmental outcome of premature infants. She is involved in the education of neonatal fellows, pediatrics residents, family practice residents and medical students. She lives in St. Paul with her husband and four children.
