Personal Biography

Dr Julie Rabb completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology form Wheaton College Graduate School in Wheaton, IL in 2014 where she specialized in working with children and adolescents. Dr Rabb's interest in international studies led her to focus her research and dissertation on orphans and caregivers in Zambia, Dr Rabb completed an APA accredited internship at the Aurora Mental Health Center in Aurora, CO where she specialized in therapeutic interventions and assessment of young children. She also completed rotations in the treatment of children with developmental delays and treated refugees in an Integrated Primary Care clinic. Subsequently, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship with the Irving Harris Program in Child Development and Infant Mental Health through the University of Colorado-Denver School of Medicine. Her training included conducting relational assessments, dyadic parent-child therapies, testifying as an expert witness on infant mental health, and early childhood assessment and diagnosis with the application of the DC:0-3 classification system. Dr Rabb's clinical interests include the treatment of young children through adolescents and promoting the relationship between caregiver and child/adolescent. Her work has included supporting mothers with pregnancy/post-partum related mood disorders and treating a variety of childhood related disorders including ADHD, depression, PTSD, anxiety related disorders, and behavior disorders. Dr. Rabb enjoys teaching, supervising, and working collaboratively with other health care professionals. She spends her time at the Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota supporting families in the outpatient mental health clinic and general pediatric practice.
