Personal Biography

Dr. Paul Kubic is a pediatric pulmonary specialist with four decades of experience working in patient at Children's Minnesota, and also a partner at Children's Respiratory Critical Care Specialists. He is himself an asthmatic, and is particularly interested in children with lung disease, particularly asthma. He also cares for her children with lung disease related to neurologic and muscle disease, respiratory illness, and preterm infants. Teaching and supervising medical students, primary care residents, including family medicine and pediatrics, and mentoring premedical college students remains an ongoing responsibility and passion for Dr. Kubic. He is an active member of Children's Hospitals Medicine and Asthma Committees, as well as a Board Member of the American Lung Association of Minnesota. Dr. Kubic participates in community education, with a focus on childhood lung disease, smoking cessation, air pollution, and asthma for Children's Hospitals, the American Lung Association, and the St. Paul Public School System. Dr. Kubic is also a volunteer at Camp Superkids for children with asthma, along with Children's Respiratory physicians and nurses. Dr. Kubic states he most enjoys mutual friendships developed over time with the many families of children with lung disease. Dr. Kubic is the only member of Children's Respiratory to complete all training at the University of Minnesota, including the College of Science and Technology, the College of Biological Sciences, Medical School, residency, and fellowship training.
