Children’s Minnesota Surgery and Specialty Center in Minnetonka expanding specialty and primary care to serve more patients

In 2024, Children’s Minnesota is excited to expand our services and care for more kids at the Children’s Minnesota Surgery and Specialty Center in Minnetonka!

Throughout the year, we are expanding Children’s Minnesota specialty clinics, primary care and a laboratory at our Minnetonka campus. The campus updates will include:

Expanded specialty clinics

Partners in Pediatrics Clinic

  • A new Partners in Pediatrics Clinic offers primary, walk-in and same-day sick care. The Partners in Pediatrics – Plymouth Clinic relocated to Minnetonka in September 2024.

Outpatient laboratory

  • Our first outpatient laboratory collection center and a testing laboratory that will provide testing for services provided on the Minnetonka campus.

Services already provided at our Minnetonka campus include surgery, medical imaging, rehab, Children’s Minnesota Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) and Facial Plastic Surgery Clinic, Children’s Respiratory and Critical Care Services and Pediatric Surgical Associates.

Access to coordinated specialty care under one roof is at the heart of the expansion at our Minnetonka campus. Patients will be able to access a variety of specialty services at one convenient location. Our clinicians onsite collaborate on your child’s care so they get exactly what they need. Our Minnetonka campus can be a one-stop destination for a patient’s primary care, specialty care, imaging, lab, etc. We’re doing all this because our patients deserve the best: health care that is excellent, compassionate and customized to their unique health needs.

On September 9, 2024, the Children’s Minnesota Partners in Pediatrics – Plymouth Clinic relocated to our Minnetonka Specialty Center at 6060 Clearwater Drive. Our new primary care clinic name is Children’s Minnesota Partners in Pediatrics – Minnetonka Clinic.

We are excited to open a brand-new Partners in Pediatrics Clinic at the Children’s Minnesota Specialty Center in Minnetonka to better serve patients and families in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities.

The new primary care clinic is in the same building as other Children’s Minnesota services such as medical imaging, lab, adolescent care, etc. Having access to multiple specialty clinics under one roof is a significant benefit for our patients and we are excited to provide these services all at one location.

Your child can continue receiving primary care and same-day sick care at our Partners in Pediatrics – Plymouth Clinic through Thursday, September 5, 2024. Starting Monday, September 9, 2024, your child can receive primary care at our new Partners in Pediatrics clinic at the Minnetonka Specialty Center located at 6060 Clearwater Drive.

Rest assured, all clinicians from our Partners in Pediatrics – Plymouth Clinic are moving to our new location in Minnetonka, so your child can continue to be cared for by your current clinician.

Additionally, the Minnetonka Specialty Center is conveniently located off I-494 and MN-62 with plenty of parking and easy access.
