Mpls.St.Paul Magazine celebrated excellence in Twin Cities nursing by toasting more than 65 finalists and recognizing 17 winners of the coveted Outstanding Nurses Awards in August. Children’s nurses represented 11 of the finalists and three of the winners at the event.
197 Children’s physicians were recognized by Mpls.St.Paul Magazine as 2018 Top Doctors. The 22nd edition of the list includes more than 800 doctors from across the Twin Cities.
Children’s is the only free-standing pediatric system in the state to be recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center for excellence in nursing.
Children’s Minnesota and Mayo Clinic recently announced a formal collaboration focused on developing new treatments to prevent heart failure for hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS), a rare form of congenital heart disease in which the left side of a child’s heart is severely underdeveloped.
