Know the warning signs: Detecting eating disorders earlier to treat patients more successfully
Center for the Treatment of Eating Disorders – 2016 Education Series
Please join us on June 8th for “Know the warning signs: Detecting eating disorders earlier to treat patients more successfully.” Eating disorders are complex and may look different for each child or adolescent. If not identified or treated in their early stages, eating disorders can become chronic, debilitating and life-threatening. Early diagnosis combined with family-involved treatment greatly improves the chance of long-term recovery. Be prepared and learn to identify the warning signs.
This free event series is open to parents, teachers, counselors, pediatricians and others interested in learning more about eating disorders and treatment options.
