Children’s Speakers Bureau
Children’s Speakers Bureau is a professional resource for up-to-date, practical information for physicians, nurses and medical staff. We offer educational presentations (at no cost) on a wide variety of pediatric, neonatal and perinatal topics.
Presenters
Children’s Speakers Bureau presentations are presented by physicians and other health care professionals associated with Children’s. Presenters include:
-
- Pediatric sub-specialists
- Primary care pediatricians
- Child psychologists and social workers
- Nurse practitioners
- Advanced practice nurses
- Registered nurses
- Child life specialists
- Allied health professionals
Presentation length
Although presentation length varies based on the interests and goals of the audience, most presentations are an hour long, including opportunities for audience or case discussion. Presentations that include skills lab or hands-on learning are covered in 90 minutes.
Requests for presentations
We are best able to accommodate requests with lead time of one month or more. If desired, Children’s will request continuing-education credits (CME and/or Minnesota Board of Nursing credits) for presentations. While approval is likely, it’s not guaranteed.
