Currently, Children’s employed providers are not able to opt out of ALL Cerner automatic faxed report copies. Automatic report copies are generated when the provider has a defined relationship with the patient (e.g. primary provider or referring provider).

Effective January 10, 2023, Children’s employed providers will be automatically opted out of receiving ALL Cerner automatic faxed report copies. This change will reduce the amount of unwanted faxes received in Children’s clinical areas. Author-requested report copies will continue to be faxed to Children’s employed providers.

If you would like to receive all future automatic faxed report copies, contact the IT Service Desk at 952-992-5000 or 4-5000 internally.

Note: You can either receive ALL faxes (opt-in) or NO faxes (opt-out which is the default).
