When an order is placed for an opiate (i.e. morphine, fentanyl, oxycodone, etc.), a PRN order of Naloxone 0.01 mg/kg will automatically be ordered. This will aid in the safe ordering of rescue agents.
Note: If the provider has already placed an order for Naloxone, it will not trigger an additional order.
