SmartZone provides noncritical notifications in a manner that does not disrupt your workflow, allowing you to view patient-relevant items and take action on them as needed. Alerts will display in the Banner Bar and remain a notification until the item is addressed.
- If you can take action on a notification, the notification displays as a link
- Click the link to address the notification. The appropriate section of the chart displays.
- Click collapse (>) to collapse the SmartZone Panel
Smart Zone alerts are currently only available in the Ambulatory setting and include:
- Pentamidine: Overdue for monthly medication
- High BMI: Order required screening labs annually and a weight consultation
- Chlamydia/Gonorrhea Screening: Order follow up testing after positive result and treatment
- Low Vitamin D Prescription: Use the Vitamin D Supplements PowerPlan
- Influenza Vaccine Order: Order vaccine during season if not yet vaccinated
- Gender Clinic Hormone Consent: Annual consent is due
- Behavior Health Diagnostic Assessment: Assessment is due for insurance authorization
