Each year, thousands of children are diagnosed with cancer, severely affecting what many of us take for granted – the ability to have a healthy childhood. The mission of the Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic (PTATC) is to host an annual mixed doubles tennis tournament to raise funds that primarily support research to lessen the suffering caused by childhood cancer. Funds raised benefit the cancer research program at Children’s Minnesota.

Our annual Baby Steps 3K raises support for Children's neonatal program. Every dollar raised will help fund important items and services, like books for our Wee Read program, snacks and amenity kits for families, education for staff, supplies to help families document their time at Children’s, and so much more.
Children’s relies on our volunteers to help us successfully host our annual Signature Events that raise more than $4 million to support our mission. With a variety of events — from 5K runs to galas — we offer volunteers several ways to get involved.
At Children’s Minnesota, we don’t just care for children, we care for the most amazing people on earth. However, many of the things that make Children’s special are only possible because of contributions from people like you. For example, your contributions help cover the costs for those who otherwise can’t afford medical care for their children. Or pay for the unique aspects of care that are not covered by insurance — like language interpreters for families who have limited English proficiency or art therapy. Learn more about how you can help through the following options.
For almost 100 years, people like you have been supporting our mission of “providing the highest-quality, family-centered care, advanced through research and education.” And, we’re just getting started. With your help, we can continue to improve and reimagine healthcare. We can continue to find better ways to care for the most amazing people on earth.
