The 33rd Annual Wagon Train for Youth sponsored by the Minnesota Sheriffs’ Posse Association will be held September 9 through September 11, 2016 at the LeSueur County Fairgrounds. The Train will be raising funds for Children’s Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota.

Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reported that the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation donated $1 million to fund a state-of-the-art pediatric neurosurgery suite at Children's Minnesota.

The first annual Aflac Charity Golf Event, Duck Drive Fore Kids, will be held on August 18th at Bunker Hill Golf Club in Coon Rapids. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit Children's Hospitals Neuroscience Program, specifically the Neuroblate Laser.
