Family resources at Children’s
One reason Children’s stands apart from other children’s healthcare options is the invaluable family services and resources we offer to all patients and families. From Child Life specialists who help minimize stress children feel during a hospital stay or visit, to faith and spiritual resources, support groups, music therapists and interpreter services, we offer a wealth of activities and resources to make your time here as comfortable as possible.
When it comes to safety and quality of care, “good enough” is never good enough. At Children’s Minnesota, we strive for excellence. We never stop learning, and we never stop improving.
To help us keep getting better, we regularly measure our progress and share those results with the public. We survey families after they visit us, we consult with our Family Advisory Council (made up of parents of past and present patients), and set quarterly improvement goals in all areas of care.
