Through this department, our psychologists meet with children for outpatient therapy, psychological and neuropsychological assessments, and consultation to outpatient and inpatient medical service.

• • Outpatient therapy — Face-to-face meetings with a psychologist or post-doctoral fellow to diagnose and treat a condition.
  • Psychological assessment — A series of tests and interviews that can help us better understand your child, their challenges, and the best treatment options.

Our specialists in this department provide psychiatric assessment and consultation to children. They can also prescribe and manage medications used to treat emotional and behavioral problems in children.

• • Psychiatric assessment — The psychiatric clinicians on our team are available to meet with children for psychiatric evaluation for medication management of children who may need a prescription medicine to treat mental or behavioral health issues.
  • Medication management — We provide ongoing management of any medicines your child needs for mental or behavioral health conditions.

Our specialists in this department focus on assessment and intervention of neuro-developmental problems (conditions typically characterized by impairments in cognition, communication, behavior and/or motor skills resulting from abnormal brain development).

• • Neuropsychological assessment — A series of tests to evaluate possible medical, neurological and developmental issues children may have, and their best options for treatment and management of those issues.
  • Developmental Pediatrics – Clinicians with expertise in complex developmental conditions who support ongoing care for children with neurodevelopmental differences whether they are born with them or they arise from serious medical problems. They collaborate with primary care providers, therapists and other medical specialists as part of the care team to serve as a home to monitor development and assist with coordination of care.

We offer treatment for eating disorders on the continuum of care, including inpatient care for those who need intensive treatment, as well as outpatient care.

We offer an intensive day program for children ages 6-18 who are struggling with emotional and behavioral concerns.
