When kids are healthy, they shine!
A cancer diagnosis can make that shine fade. They’re scared, unsure of what lies ahead and they use their energy for the most important thing of all – healing. This fall, businesses across our community will Shine Bright for Cancer Kids to support kids battling cancer at Children’s Minnesota.
The team at Children’s cares for nearly 1,000 kids every year fighting cancer, more than any other hospital in the state. We care for their parents and siblings, too. Because a cancer diagnosis can be devastating to the entire family.
We need your help
Be part of Shine Bright for Cancer Kids this September by providing special discounts or promotions to help us raise money for the Cancer Kids Fund at Children’s Minnesota. It’s an easy way to do good right here in Minnesota — and raise your profile as a company that cares. You’ll get a toolkit to support your campaign as well as recognition throughout Children’s social and website properties.
How your business gets involved is up to you — you could do a point-of-sale round-up donation or matching-funds gift. Last year one of our partners made a special Shine Bright coffee blend that was wildly popular (and Children’s Minnesota received a portion of the proceeds). We’ll help you create a campaign that’s just right for you, and your business will be part of something big in our community.

About the Cancer and Blood Disorders program at Children’s
We are the largest pediatric cancer and blood disorders program in the Upper Midwest, caring for more than 55 percent of children diagnosed with cancer or blood disorders in Minnesota, and 70 percent of those diagnosed in the Twin Cities. We also care for our patients’ families by investing in the Cancer Kids Fund, which supports wellbeing through music therapy, child life experts, pet therapy visits, meals, playtime for siblings, as well as help covering a family’s everyday expenses.
