Honor a loved one with a meaningful memorial

Children’s Minnesota’s tribute giving program provides a special opportunity to honor a loved one. It’s a powerful way to celebrate a meaningful milestone, or to create a memorial of those who have touched our lives. Your tribute gift can be designated to a specific program or area of Children’s Minnesota or to the area of greatest need.

There are a few ways to facilitate memorials: 

Create an honor page

By creating a fundraising page, you can create a page that honors your loved one’s life and create a lasting impact for future kids at Children’s Minnesota.

Some benefits:

  • Celebrate and share your loved one’s life/journey and connection to Children’s Minnesota
  • Share the page easily with friends and family locally and beyond
  • Receive donation updates (who gave) in real-time
  • Thank donors in a quicker time frame
  • Evergreen page – can direct friends and family on special days or milestones throughout the years
  • Set up donations to be designated/focus area your loved one cared about
Create an honor page

Online Donations* 

Your loved ones can make gifts online by visiting www.childrensmn.org/giving and mark the gifts as a memorial. After selecting the donation amount, select ‘I’m making my gift in honor of someone’ followed by a box to enter the name of the person you want to honor. 

Mailed Donations*

Your loved ones can make gifts through the mail as well. They can send checks to:

Please add [relationship]’s name to the memo line. A Tribute report that includes all memorials received by our Foundation can be created by request.

Make your tribute gift here

After selecting your donation below, there is a box that can be checked titled ‘I’m making my gift in honor of someone’ followed by a box to enter the name of the person you want to honor. You will receive an acknowledgment and tax receipt from Children’s Minnesota for your records. You may also mail checks payable to Children’s Minnesota Foundation with the honoree’s name in the memo line gift to:
