Children’s Minnesota is delighted to share it has been recognized as one of Becker’s Hospital Review’s 150 top places to work in healthcare for 2024. This is the second year in a row the organization has received this recognition. The magazine noted that Children’s Minnesota believes its employees are its most valuable asset. The extensive benefits program was recognized for including tools, education, resources and activities to improve and maintain employee health and wellbeing.
Becker’s also factored in Children’s Minnesota’s impact on diversity, equity and inclusion in their halls and beyond; Children’s Minnesota has taken major steps to improve their hospital-issued clothing, adding head caps for patients to protect their textured hair type, as well as hijabs that respect patient beliefs and satisfy safety guidelines. These efforts, among many others, led 85% of employees to report they feel their work group is accepting of diverse backgrounds and different ways of thinking.
The list was developed through nominations and Becker’s own editorial research.
