Children’s – St. Paul (pediatric hospital and specialty clinics) is centrally located on the western edge of downtown St. Paul. The hospital is easily accessible from all parts of the region via Interstate highways or by local arterial streets. |
From the north:
Follow I-35E south to I-94 west. Go to the Marion St. exit, turn left. Follow Kellogg Boulevard.
to Smith Avenue, turn right. Go three blocks to Children's - St. Paul on the right. Entrances
to the Green and Blue parking ramps are on the left, before you reach the hospital. The
Red Ramp is past the hospital off Grand Avenue.

From the west:
Traveling east on I-94, take the exit at Marion Street and turn right. Follow Kellogg Boulevard.

to the Green and Blue parking ramps are on the left, before you reach the hospital. The Red
Ramp is past the hospital off Grand Avenue.

From the south via 35E:
Follow I-35E north and exit at Grand Avenue, turn right. Travel less than one block to the
Red Ramp on the left, or continue to Smith Avenue and turn left. Children's - St. Paul is
on the left and the entrances to the Green and Blue parking ramps are on the right.

From the south via Hwy 61:
Proceed north on Hwy 61 to Warner/Shepard Road. Follow Shepard Road to Eagle Parkway/Chestnut Street.
Take Eagle Parkway./Chestnut to Smith Avenue, turn left. Go three blocks to Children's - St. Paul on the
right. Entrances to the Green and Blue parking ramps are on the left, before you reach the hospital.
The Red Ramp is past the hospital off Grand Avenue.

From the east:

Directions from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport:
Exit airport by following signs to St. Paul (Hwy. 5). Proceed east on Hwy. 5 across Mississippi
River and into St. Paul. Hwy. 5 becomes Fort Road. Proceed on Fort Road to Grand Avenue. Turn north (left)
on Grand Avenue. Proceed on Grand Av. two blocks to Children's - St. Paul, which will be
on your right.

Parking Information
Three parking ramps are located on campus. The Red Ramp is the closest to the Children's - St. Paul main entrance.
All other ramps have access to the hospital by tunnel. Ramp clearance is 6'8" in the Green Ramp and 7' in all others.
Blue Ramp visitors parking on levels 4,5 and 6 will need to use stairs to access elevators. Parking fees are
posted at each ramp entrance.
The first 30 minutes of public parking in all St. Paul campus ramps is free. Special parking rates are available
to parents who are at the hospital for long periods of time or for those who make frequent daily trips to the hospital.
Ask your child's nurse about special parking rates for parents.
