Resources

We know you may want to dig for more information, so we gathered these easy-to-digest materials and resources from pediatric organizations in Minnesota and beyond.

What to expect

At Children’s, we know how to assess and treat each child’s specific nutrition needs. During our initial, thorough nutrition assessment, we review your child’s growth history, feeding history, lab results and medications. If nutrition risks are identified, our dietitian manages your child’s clinical nutrition needs throughout the duration of his or her inpatient stay. Children who visit our outpatient clinics also receive comprehensive nutrition assessments, treatment and follow-up.

Meet the team

Our team of clinical dietitians use evidence based approaches to nutrition therapy and work hard to stay up to date on the latest nutrition research. We collaborate with providers, other disciplines, patients and families to create nutrition plans that keep our kids health, growth and development top priority. All of our dietitians are registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and licensed with the State of Minnesota.

Choosing where to bring your child for care is a major decision. We understand you want all the information you can get. And you want it in a clear, straightforward form that helps you make the right choice for your family.
