Children’s Minnesota welcomed Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz to its St. Paul hospital to tour construction of its first inpatient mental health unit. Following the tour, Gov. Walz ceremonially signed mental health legislation that included a bill providing 22 bed licenses for the unit, expected to serve kids and teens this fall.
