Peter J. King Pediatric Emergency Department opens on St. Paul Campus

Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota celebrated the opening of the Peter J. King Pediatric Emergency Department on its St. Paul campus. The new emergency department is named for the Peter J. King Family Foundation whose philanthropic gift funded a significant portion of the renovated and expanded emergency department.

Children’s new chief and vice chief of staff were announced at the annual professional staff meeting on Dec. 5. Robert Segal, MD, begins his two-year term as chief of staff January 1, 2013 and Leonard Snellman, MD, was elected vice chief of staff.
