Ambulatory care (Children’s – Minnetonka)
Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota operates a pediatric ambulatory center located in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Approximately 34,000 square feet in size, the ambulatory center offers six operating rooms, 11 private recovery rooms, radiology facilities, administrative offices and waiting and play areas.
Children’s – Minnetonka provides outpatient, same-day surgery with Phase I and Phase II recovery areas set in a family-centered care environment. Services that can be performed at this facility include:
- Opthalomologic, otolaryngologic, urologic, dental, plastic surgery and general surgeries
- On-site diagnostic services include laboratory and radiology
Medical Office Building offers additional healthcare options
Children’s – Minnetonka was expanded in 1998 to include a 26,700 square foot professional medical office building. Tenants in the medical office building include a variety of affiliated and unaffiliated specialty care clinics offering services such as: dentistry, ophthalmology, diabetes/endocrinology, adolescent gynecology, urology, pediatric primary care and respiratory therapy. The building also includes a 5,500 square foot Special Diagnostics Center, which offers computerized tomography and magnetic resonance imaging services.
