kohlsInfluenza prevention education is an important step to keeping kids healthy during the flu season. That is why the Kohl’s Cares program awarded Children’s a $441,259 grant in 2009, a $422,000 grant in 2010 and a $483,230 grant in 2011 to create the Kohl’s and Children’s Influenza Prevention Project for Kids. The project offers free vaccination clinics and educational assemblies in schools to teach children about flu prevention. Kohl's is offering free flu shot clinics September 13-14 to help protect kids from the flu and educate them about flu safety.

Free flu shots will be available Friday, September 13 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 14 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
