Children's is dedicated to keeping your family healthy and safe this year from the flu. That's why we've teamed up with Kohl's Cares to provide area flu vaccine clinics, education and resources to help make flu prevention simple.
Influenza, commonly known as the flu, is a serious respiratory illness. Symptoms can include fever, cough, sore throat, muscle aches, fatigue, congestion, a runny nose and, in extreme cases, death. For simple steps you can take to prevent the flu in your family, watch the video below.
Vaccination is the best way to prevent the flu. There are two kinds of flu vaccine, injectable (flu shot) or nasal spray (FluMist™). Children's offers many opportunities for your child to get vaccinated. Click here to view locations of our primary care clinics and throughout Minnesota.
