Star Gala 2024, Presented by APi Group, is benefiting Children’s Minnesota’s neurosciences program

Saturday, April 13th, 2024

The pediatric neuroscience program offers a continuum of care that is among the best in the nation. From evaluation and diagnosis to surgery, follow-up care and rehabilitation, patients from pre-birth to age 21 receive expert care in one convenient location. We specialize in treating concussions, brain tumors, epilepsy, spina bifida, and traumatic injuries as well as being a destination for many rare disorders and fetal surgeries. Our neuroscience program is constantly pushing boundaries and leading the way. Backed by the largest team of pediatric neurosurgeons and the most sophisticated technology, Children’s Minnesota cares for far more kids than any other program in the region.

First-of-its-kind three-room iMRI suite

In 2023 Children’s Minnesota became the first pediatric health care system in North America with a hybrid intraoperative magnetic resonance imaging (iMRI) three-room surgical suite. This design provides state-of-the-art support while our expert team seamlessly moves the massive MRI scanner from the diagnostic room into the neurosurgery operating room via a ceiling-mounted rail system in as little as ten minutes. Because complex conditions require minimal movement to achieve precise imaging in the tiniest patients, the impact of this revolutionary iMRI suite has been immediate and dramatic.

Thank you!

Thank you to those who supported the 2023 Star Gala, a cherished annual event. Together we raised a record-breaking $2.36 million for the vital cancer and blood disorders program at Children’s Minnesota.
