Biography

Mindy is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker that specializes in working with children, adolescents, and their caregivers to address challenging emotions and behaviors. Mindy believes that caregivers are the best teachers for their children and supports them in being the best that they can be! Mindy has extensive experience in treating depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, adjustment challenges, grief, and behavioral concerns from ages birth-young adults. She is a Nationally-Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and has additional training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Exposure Response-Prevention for the treatment of OCD. Mindy is able to work with Hugo and West St. Paul’s primary care patients for brief, short-term therapy. In addition to therapy, Mindy is also able to provide consultation to providers and schools, and assist with making referrals for outside services.
