When an order is placed for an opiate (i.e. morphine, fentanyl, oxycodone, etc.), a PRN order of Naloxone 0.01 mg/kg will automatically be ordered.

As a part of the digital front door strategy, Children’s Minnesota is launching a new Cerner application called Referral Management (ARM) on April 30, 2024. Referral Management will streamline and enhance our internal processes of originating and receiving referral orders and requests as well as keeping patients within our Children’s Minnesota system of care.

Children’s of MN adopts coding and documentation guidelines from the AMA. We do not typically follow CMS (Medicare based) rules because Children’s is not a Medicare-based facility.
