Patsy Stinchfield named president-elect of National Foundation for Infectious Diseases Board of Directors

Patsy StinchfieldCongratulations to Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Patsy Stinchfield on being named president-elect of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) Board of Directors 2020-2021.

Patsy specializes in vaccinology, especially communicating about vaccine safety as well as in building teams to reduce hospital acquired infections.  She is the senior director of infection prevention and control and wound care team at Children’s Minnesota and the Children’s Immunization Project, a collaborative effort in Minnesota bringing immunization information to parents, providers, and the community. She was lead author of a recent NFID report on Vitamin A for the Management of Measles in the US.  Patsy has been a Children’s Minnesota employee and professional staff member for 33 years.
