Admissions and transfers to Children’s Minnesota
A pediatric emergency physician and/or a pediatric hospitalist will provide triage for admissions and transfers.
Please be ready with the following information:
- Patient name
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Referring and primary care clinician’s name
- Diagnosis / reason for transfer or admission
**Many insurance plans require prior authorization for a hospital admission.
