Remote Access for Health Professionals

Health Professionals working with Children’s Hospitals and Clinics may need access to our internal systems and applications.

Children’s EMR View

Children’s EMR View enables you, as a physician/clinician, to remotely view the electronic medical record (EMR) of patients you have referred to Children’s. EMR View provides immediate, view-only access to the patient’s EMR, allowing you to monitor your patient’s condition and treatment while at Children’s. Using EMR View, you have real-time information available for consulting with your patient’s attending physician, if necessary. Providers needing to place orders into the EMR without gaining access should use our infrequent providers request form.

EMR training & support

If you provide clinical care to patients at Children’s, electronic medical record (EMR) training is required. Schedule a one- or two-hour individual training with a professional staff education analyst, by calling: 952-992-5000 .

In addition, the EMR Learning Center is a library of EMR training resources to support your use of the Children’s EMR.

PowerChart Access

Professional Staff Portal

Our Professional Staff Portal offers credentialed staff secure access to many clinical references and applications. In addition, you’ll find updates to professional staff policies and information to help you care for your patients at Children’s.
